How to get to us

Local bus services - you can take a number 10 or 27 bus (going towards Tollcross) right to our door from the city centre. Get off the bus at the Leamington Terrace stop (the 2nd stop on Gilmore Place) and walk back a few metres to get to the Guest House (75 Gilmore Place). Many other bus services run near to the house, so please contact us if you need further information.

From Waverley train station - exit through the main station entrance and on Princes Street walk to the Scott Monument where you can catch a number 10 bus going towards Tollcross. Get off the bus at the Leamington Terrace stop (the 2nd stop on Gilmore Place) and walk back a few metres to get to the Guest House (75 Gilmore Place).

From Haymarket train station - it's a 15-minute walk from Haymarket - please contact us if you need directions.

From Edinburgh airport - you can take the tram or the Airlink 100 bus to Haymarket train station and it's a 15-minute walk from there.

Taxi - a taxi from Edinburgh airport will cost approximately £20-30 and a taxi from Waverley train station or the bus station will cost approximately £10 depending on traffic.

Coming by car - please be aware that parking in Edinburgh can be difficult and/or expensive. There is no on-site parking available at the guest house. At the moment, we have a deal with a local underground car park (around 8 minutes walk from the guest house) with a significantly reduced daily rate. At check in we can give details about how to get to the car park and how to get the reduced rate.
